Scope 1,2,3, emissions refer to the categorisation of types of emissions in the GHG protocol.

Scope 1 emissions are direct emissions from owned or controlled sources. These include emissions from combustion of fuels, manufacturing processes, and fugitive emissions from solid waste.

Scope 2 emissions are indirect emissions from electricity, heat, or steam that is purchased or generated by the organization. These emissions are a result of the generation of electricity, heat, or steam that is used by the organization and delivered to it through a third-party provider.

Scope 3 emissions are indirect emissions that result from activities not under the organization's direct control, but are a consequence of its activities, products, or services. These emissions can come from a number of sources, including business travel, employee commuting, waste disposal, and the use of raw materials and purchased products and services.
